Power-Display
is dedicated to monitor renewable energies from photovoltaic, solar thermal, hydroelectric, geothermal.

Display for photovoltaic implant
mod. PWD15-C3-TC
Power-Display can be installed inside a building or outdoors. It allows the owner to monitor its efficiency and primarily it inform the public of the existence of the plant and its efficiency in terms of energy and carbon dioxide emissions avoided, and then it highlight the contribution that the implant provides for the protection environment.
Specifically Power-Display shows the following three data (on request you can add other fields):
- Power output (Watt/kW)
- Total energy output (kWh/MW)
- CO2 emissions saved (kg/Ton)
Bios Elettronica manufactures eight models electronic standards to which you can add custom versions with additional fields (solar radiation, time and date, weather etc). The standard versions differ mainly in the size and environment of use. The two smaller models are for indoor applications, others are for outdoor installations. The outdoor models are naturally weatherproof (IP54) and (very important feature) are made with advanced technology and components that make them super brigh and therefore readable even at peak sunlight.

Links and interfaces
Power-Display can be connected to inverters, energy meters and data loggers. The display is available in several interfaces:
- IMPULSE
Impulse interface is used to interface Power-Display to energy meters, inverters or data loggers that provide instant power through pulses;
- RS485
RS485 interface is used to interface Power-Display to energy meters, inverters or data loggers through RS485 serial port (RS232 available too). Compatible with: datalogger Solar-Log 500, Solar-log 1000, energy meters Gavazzi (EM21-72, EM23, EM24, EM26-96), Revalco 1RAEMC485, Socomec Diris series, Elettronica CG MPM100 and others (please ask for complete list).
- ETHERNET
Ethernet interface is used to interface Power-Display to energy meters, inverters or data loggers through ethernet port. Compatible with SMA SunnyWebBox datalogger and others (please ask for complete list).
- MODBUS
Modbus interface is used to interface Power-Display to a PLC/PC or datalogger in “slave” mode with Modbus RTU Slave protocol, through RS485.
With the solutions listed above you can connect Power-Display to most popular inverters, dataloggers and energy meters. Among them: the dataloggers SolarLog500 and SolarLog1000, Aurora Easy Control PVI-AEC-EVO, AROS WEB'log (Light+ and Pro), SMA SunnyWebBox, Meteo Control WEB'log (Basic and Pro), Riello Solar SunGuard Web 'log (Light+ and Pro), analyzers and energy meters Carlo Gavazzi (EM21-72, EM23, EM24, EM26-96), ABB (DMTME-I-485-96 and MTME-485-LCD-96), IME series Conto, Socomec (series Countis and Diris), AEG E8MF/4I, EMU Elektronik (EMU light and EMU32), Revalco 1RAEMC485, Elettronica GC MPM100 and other instruments (ask for updated list).
Settings
During the installation you need to set some values. You can program the Power-Display by the infrared keyboard TK5 provided with Power-Display. TK5 keyboard allows you to set:
|
|
- Total energy already produced;
- CO2 factor conversion;
- Measuring unit;
- Impulse value, weight, length.
